YAYYYYYY IM SO HAPPY EM!!!!!!! your response could not be more perfect, here’s to a GLOWING PINK JANUARY AND FEBRUARY!!!!!! and to not doing things you don’t want to do particularly when it’s COLD!!!!!!!! and to warm fireplaces and hot tea…. 💖💕💖💕
when thje clock strikes midnight i'm going to be thinking of this card and specifically about Grace's quote; that is exactly what i want to have in mind as i start my year:) thank you for the loveliest piece ever, i am left feeling full of hope and isn't that the best gift anyone could receive? you two are the absolute best and i love and appreciate you more than words could even explain. what a perfect end to this series!
“the way things have been does not have to be the way things will be” could not be more perfect 💜 Thank you, Grace and Em, for this lovely exchange. I feel full of hope for a glowing pink January and February now (and the whole of 2026!!! Let’s keep glowing pink!)
I’ll keep these words in the forefront of my mind all year 🥰
This was a perfect thing to read (from both of you) soon after waking today on the first morning of 2026. I need to look at this year differently and put forth different (both more and less) effort in various ways than in the past. This one like will help be a guide, thank you for it.
I am going to miss this series so much!!! Thank you Em for putting these together, this has been so lovely in my inbox the past month <3 I really like the idea of January, the socially contracted fresh start and new life, but the reality is that it's still me living it!! So I have to be realistic to myself and go at my own pace - and THAT'S OKAY!!!
this was wonderful! i always struggle with january, mainly because the cold and the dark of scotland in the winter months make everything feel stagnant and dead! i'm managing to enjoy the end of the year more by watching the signs of life i do see. little songbirds picking for seeds or the wood mice creeping out of their hiding spots to snatch up the bits of stale bread i leave out for them. i hope i can adopt more of your positive mindset for the new year, grace, it seems like the right way to start it <3
